What do you need?

1/2 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast (sliced)
2 cups vegetable oil
1 green pepper (cut into 1/2 inch squares)
1/2 cup water chestnuts
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp hoisin sauce
1/4 tsp cornstarch
1 cup raw cashew nuts
1 egg
1/2 cup cooking wine

How do you turn these into a delicious dish?

1. Fry cashew nuts with 1/2 cup vegetable oil on low heat until they turn a golden brown.
2. Marinate chicken breasts for 30 minutes in salt, pepper, cornstarch, cooking wine, and egg.
3. Heat wok and once it is hot add 1 cup oil. When it's just beginning to smoke, add chicken, green pepper, and water chestnuts, stirring for 1-2 minutes.
4. Take them out.
5. Add 1/2 cup oil to wok & add hoisin sauce. Cook 1-2 minutes or until thickened slightly.
6. Add nuts, chicken, and vegetables. Stir everything together until well coated with sauce.
