What do you need?
------------------------

  • 1/2 lb pork (cut 2cm long, 3cm wide and 0.5cm thick)
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • 1 cup green pepper (cut into 2cm square pieces)
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cooking wine
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 5 tsp sugar
  • 3 tsp vinegar
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil (or vegetable oil)
  • 1 egg
  • 5 tsp dry cornstarch

How do you turn these into a delicious dish?

1. Put sliced pork into a bowl with salt, cooking wine, white pepper, and egg. Mix and marinate for 10 minutes. 
2. Dust every piece of meat with the dry cornstarch.

3. Heat vegetable oil and deep-fry the pork until it becomes crispy on the outside.

4. Put 5 tsp oil in the wok/pan, add green pepper and onion and stir-fry until the color of the green pepper has changed. Put sugar, ketchup, vinegar and the fried pork into the wok/pan. Quickly stir-fry until every piece of pork is covered with ketchup.
