The Chinese money is called Ren-ming-bi, meaning people’s currency. It is in the decimal system. One Yuan means one dollar. But in daily dialogue they say Kuai instead of Yuan. One Jiao means a dime and in daily dialogue it is pronounced as Mao. One Fen means one cent.
The vowel “ü” is written as “u” according to the Pinyin rules.
