There are two words in Chinese to show the word “Date”: “Ri” and “Hao” , but the latter is often used in daily dialogue . The vowel “ü” is written as “u” according to the Pinyin rules.

1. What’s the date today?

今jīn-天tiān几jǐ号hào？

2. It’s the 6^th.

6liù号hào。

3. We’ll leave on 11^th.

我wǒ-们men1shí-1yī号hào离lí-开kāi。

4. And arrive on 12^th.

1shí- 2èr号hào到dào。

5. You will spend a week in Beijing .

你nǐ 们men 在zài北běi-京běi-呆dāi一yì周zhōu。
