Plurals (A)

Plurals are expressed by adding other characters without any changes in the nouns themselves. Please note the numeral words in Chinese have their special expressions.

1. We need two tickets.

我wǒ-们mén需xū-要yào两liǎng-张zhāng票piào。

2. October 1st is the National Day of China.

她tā要yào一yī-辆liàng出chū-租zū-车chē。

3. There are six persons in our group.

我wǒ-们mén组zǔ有yǒu六liù-个gè人rén。

4. We will visit four cities.

我wǒ-们mén将jiāng参cān-观guān四sì-个gè城chéng-市shì。

5. They will visit one more city.

他tā-们mén将jiāng多duō参cān-观guān一yī-个gè城chéng-市shì。
