The Ordinal Numbers (B)

It’s very easy to say the ordinal numbers in Chinese. If you have learned how to say the word Di ( 第 ) and put any figure after it, you can say the ordinal numbers without any problems.

6. Turn left on the third crossing.

第dì-三sān个gè路lù-口kǒu往wǎng左zuǒ。

7. It’s the 50th anniversary of our company this year.

今jīn-年nián是shì我wǒ-们mén公gōng-司sī5wǔ-0shí周zhōu-年nián纪jì-念niàn。

8. We will give a party on the 35th floor of the mansion.

我wǒ-们mén将jiāng在zài大dà-厦shà第dì-3sān-shí-5wǔ层céng搞gǎo酒jiǔ-会huì。

9. You are the one millionth passenger on our flight.

你nǐ是shì我wǒ-们mén航háng-班bān第dì-一yī-百bǎi-万wàn名míng旅lǚ-客kè。

10. So we will offer you a second trip to China without charge.

所suǒ-以yǐ我wǒ-们mén将jiāng提tí-供gōng你nǐ再zài-次cì来lái中zhōng-国guó的de免miǎn-费fèi机jī-票piào。
