Chinese have their own system in weight, length and volume. The metric system is used at the same time. So it will be enough for you just to know how to say the metric system in Chinese. But if you hear a Chinese person saying one Jin (half a kilo) or one Liang (50 grams), you shouldn’t be confused.

1. How much do you weigh?

你nǐ多duō重zhòng？

2. I’m seventy kilograms.

我wǒ7qī-0shí公gōng-斤jīn。

3. He is 150 Jin.

他tā1yì-bǎi-5wǔ-0shí斤jīn。

4. How much do your suitcases weigh?

你nǐ 的de衣yī-箱xiāng有yǒu多duō重zhòng？

5. One is 20 kilos and the other is 24 kilos.

一yí- 个gè 2èr-0shí公gōng-斤jīn，另lìng一yí-个gè2èr-shí-4sì公gōng-斤jīn。
