The Ordinal Numbers (A)

It’s very easy to say the ordinal numbers in Chinese. If you have learned how to say the word Di ( 第 ) and put any figure after it, you can say the ordinal numbers without any problems.

1. Our flight is the first flight in the morning.

我wǒ-们mén-的de航háng-班bān是shì早zǎo-上shàng第dì-一yī次cì航háng-班bān。

2. The dining hall is on the second floor of the hotel.

饭fàn-厅tīng在zài旅lǚ-馆guǎn第dì-二èr层céng。

3. On which floor is my room?

我wǒ-的de房fáng-间jiān在zài几jī层céng？

4. On the fourth floor.

在zài第dì-四sì层céng。

5. How do I get to the nearest cinema?

最zuì-近jìn-的de电diàn-影yǐng-院yuàn怎zěn-么me走zǒu？
